Did you get your reuseable cup at Kangaroo?

Picked up the reuseable cup at Kangaroo and was pleased to see that the Free Refills are good through 9/5/2011.  That's about 3 months worth of free Fountain and Frozen drinks for the low price of $6.99 plus tax!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Have any P&G Brand Saver Coupons Left?

Earlier this year I filled out an online form and received a big, fat coupon booklet from Proctor & Gamble full of great coupons!  If you have any of these coupons, they will expire on June 30th!  I had this one for $1 off Downy that I didn't want to go to waste, but I had a hard time finding them in my cheap price range.  I was tickled when I stumbled across the Downy Ball at Oak Grove Walmart!  Sure enough, the coupon worked like a charm and I got this little do-dad for 37-cents!

I don't know if there will be more of the coupon booklets to come, but it won't hurt to sign up at:  https://www.pgbrandsampler.com/pgeds/brandsampler.jsp?utm_source=eds&utm_medium=crm&utm_campaign=June11Newsletter&referrer=June11Newsletter-site

Hormel Printable

Here's another printable from Coupons.com.  Walmart carries something that looks a lot like these, but I am not sure if they are made by Hormel.  I had a hard time finding the Hormel bacon recently, so I'll be on the look out for these, too.  We've never had these, so this might be something new for us to try!  Zip:  42301

Where's the high value coupon?

Remember way back on June 16th when I posted this....
I was happy to see that there was indeed a TN Pride coupon in the 6/19 Red Plum, not so happy to see it was a 75-cent coupon.  I think TN Pride is confused on exactly what a "high value coupon" is!  There is also a printable available for $1 off two TN Pride sausage products or $1 off one when you buy ground beef.  There's no size specification on how much ground beef you need to buy, so if you can find a really small package of hamburger, you might come out pretty good with that printable coupon!  The printable is still available as of right now at Redplum.com.

Dollar General Lysol Printable

Head over to Dollar General for a couple Lysol Healthy Touch No-Touch Hand Soap System printable coupons!  http://dollargeneral.com/coupons/Pages/index.aspx  These are Dollar General store coupons and you can combine them with a manufacturer's coupon!  Unfortunately, the Louisville Courier Journal did not have the $3 off a starter kit coupon in the 6/12 paper.  If you really want to purchase this product, you can always try and get the coupon from a clipping service.

I haven't checked these out at Dollar General but I did get a few earlier this year at Walgreens.  The kids loved them!  Since I already have the starter kit, I'm definitely going to check the price of refills!  I think they are over $3 at Walmart.  The $1 off coupon should make them pretty reasonable at Dollar General.  My rock bottom price for handsoap is Free - $1, so let's hope Dollar General has a really low starting price!

Staples Reuseable Bag FREE

http://f.e.staples.com/i/25/2068345218/20110614_Printable_Coupon.pdf

Get a free reuseable shopping bag at Staples through 6/25 AND get 15% off everthing you can fit in the bag (exclusions apply)!  Hmmm, wonder if you can use Manufacturer's coupons along with that 15% off?  This is another "limit one per customer, per day" coupon so you could potentially do this every day this week, while supplies last!  I wonder if you have to make a purchase to get the free reuseable bag?  If you do, there were several $1 items in bins up near the front of the store and there is a clearance rack near that back of the store!

Pilot B2P Pen Printable

Pilot is promoting a new Bottle 2 Pen made from recycled plastic bottles.  A pretty cool concept.  There is a link on Coupons.com but it wouldn't work for me.  If you can't get the coupon via Coupons.com, try registering on the Pilot website:  https://www.pilotpen.us/NewCustomer.aspx  and see if you receive the email with the printable coupon like I did!  Good luck!  I price checked these pens at Staples.com; a 3 pack costs $5.79.  Maybe these will be on sale for back to school!

UPDATE:  Finally got the link to work:  https://www.notjustapen.com/Registration

Vista Print Freebies, Pay Shipping & Processing

I'd never ordered anything from Vista Print and thought this would be a good time to try it out.    You do have to pay Shipping & Processing, so the item isn't totally free.  But, I only had to pay $6.31 for the address stamp, so not too bad and it's something I've been meaning to order for a long time!  Just go to www.vistaprint.com to get started!

Help Habitat for Humanity, "Like" Soft Scrub & Renuzit on FB

Softscrub has a great "giving" promotion going on right now on their Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/SoftScrub
"Like” us on Facebook and help us reach our goal of donating up to $35,000 to help provide decent, affordable homes to families in need.

It doesn't say how many people need to "Like" them to reach their donation goal, but the email says by July 12th.  So, head on over and click "like" then pass this on to everyone you know on Facebook!

While you're there, go ahead and "like" Renuzit, too!  http://www.facebook.com/SoftScrub?sk=app_218357411527741#!/Renuzit  There are no coupons, but there is a cute link on the left for "Customize Your Cone".  It'll take you to a website where you can actually upload your own photo to customize your Renuzit air freshener cone.  It took a little time, but it was totally adorable and FREE!  You print it right from your computer, or you can save it and take it to Staples and print it (but that'll cost you!).  Wouldn't these make really great personalized gifts?

Typo Appology and Stockpile Sneak Peek!

Ug, I detest typos!  I can't stand to read something and find a typo!  I always think, "how'd that get past their editor?"  Well, I am my own editor and I have found several typos in the emails I get from my blog posts!  And I am genuinely sorry!  I can only attribute this to the rushing I've been doing to get the posts, well, posted!  From this point forward, I'm going to do better.  To make it up to you, here is a sneak peek of the paper products portion of my stockpile!

I call this my "great wall of toilet paper".  It's actually my great wall of paper towels & toilet paper, but it just doesn't have the same ring to it.  It resides in the hallway from the kitchen to the living room.  It actually sits on a row of six rolling carts from Walmart where I store various other items.  I had to do a total after snapping this picture, and it really took me by surprise!  There are 70 rolls of paper towels (one package isn't pictured) and 248 rolls of toilet paper!

I've only been couponing since about the middle of January.  This just shows how fast things can start to pile up!  And I passed up the great deal on Scott paper towels at Walgreens on Memorial Day!  So, if you take nothing else from this post, remember that you don't have to buy ten newspapers each week and clear the shelves to get your stockpile bursting with goodies.  Be patient, pace yourself, your stockpile will grow over time!  And keep growing, and growing, and growing.

Ok, I've now read this email about three times to check for typos!  Did a spell check and everything looks good!  I hope you have enjoyed seeing the great wall!

Johnson's Baby Powder Printable

Did you get this printable from Coupons.com?  It had been under zip 11223.  Walmart's online price for the 15 oz size of Johnson's Baby Powder is $2.97.  I would think in-store prices would be somewhere near that price.  Johnson's products are sometimes on sale in the pharmacies, so you might want to hang onto this coupon until closer to the expiration date!  Maybe we'll see a Register Reward deal on this!

Murphy USA Discount Card / Debit Card

I hadn't heard of this program until today, and I have to say sign me up!  This Gas Discount Card couldn't have come at a better time.  Gas prices in Hopkinsville have been about 10-20 cents below prices in Hopkins County over the last couple months.  Murphy USA is usually the cheapest before the 3-cent discount, having the convenience of debiting the payment directly from our checking account, AND getting the 3-cents off per gallon without remembering to purchase a Walmart gift card is a really great thing for us.

I wanted to know more about this program since it links directly to my check card so I read through the FAQ at:  https://www.paymentcard.com/secure/retailers/murphy/learnmore0.html

Why use the Murphy Check Card rather than a debit card?
Debit cards and credit cards are forms of payment that carry large merchant fees from the banking and credit card industry.
These charges are transparent to you as a consumer. By eliminating these higher fees, the merchant is able to pass a portion of the savings along to you.
This method of payment benefits both you and the merchant.

Sounds good to me!

Kmart Doubles List

Here is a list of coupons from my coupon caddy that should double in the Kmart Super Doubles event this week.  There are size/quantity restrictions for some of the coupons.  Since these were filed in my caddy, I had no easy way to check from which insert they came; sorry!  I tried to be as accurate as possible, but errors are possible.  And, you're not going to find all of these products at Madisonville Kmart, but this list should be a good starting point!
