Ronco Pasta 55-cents at Market Place

Oh how I love Market Place.....You remember the Ronco pasta that was on sale last week 2/$0.98?  Well, select varieties are 55-cents each this week!  If you still have your 55-cent off one coupon, you should be able to use it and get the pasta for FREE.  Unfortunately for me, my coupon expired last Friday and wasn't available for me to print again.  Bummer!  But, then again, maybe Market Place read my rant about it last week and made the change to pacify the couponers!  Probably not, but a girl can dream, can't she?

My Trip To Market Place Today

Here's a summary of my trip to Market Place this afternoon...

Items on Sale and In Stock:

• Cheerios 5/$10 - I purchased one box and it rang up for $2, I had one lonely $0.50 cent coupon which doubled to a dollar making that box of cereal a buck!  Sure wish I had had more of that coupon!  (And I guess that's why you need to buy more than one paper each week!)
• Bic Pens 2/$1 - I purchased 6 packs and my mom purchased 6 packs.  We used the $1/2 printable coupon and the register accepted it without a problem.  All 12 packs were FREE!  I think one or two packs will find their way into the "Swag Basket" for the Meet & Greet, but the rest of them are going to the resource center at my kids school.
• Elmer's Glue 4/$1 - I had just bought two bottles at Walmart and paid 40-cents each for them.  I know it's crazy, but I'm returning those to Walmart on my next trip!
• Best Choice Vegetable Oil $1.98 - I like to buy Canola, but a deep fried french fry is just as fattening no matter which kind of oil you use, right?  I bought two bottles.  If only there were coupons for Best Choice products!

Items I wanted and they did not have (I saved my Ad and will try and price match these at Walmart):

• Avery Glue Sticks 2/$1.00
• Elmer's Glue Sticks 4/$1.00
• Expo markers 2/$5
• Smart Balance Popcorn $1.00 (I'm really hoping Walmart has this, because I really want to use my 75-cent coupon making this a quarter!)

Another Printable for Glidden Paint Sample!

If you need more Glidden Paint Samples, here's another $2 off coupon you can print!  Between this one and the one on Coupons.com, you should be able to print 4 copies!  I had to wonder over to the paint section at Walmart today to check these things out.  They were priced $2.94 each in Princeton, they come in cute little bottles, and are available in a wide variety of pre-mixed colors!  The ad (which printed when I printed these coupons) says each bottle covers 3 square feet.  I'm a little doubtful about that estimate, those bottles look kind of tiny.  But maybe you can paint 12 square feet for about 4-bucks!  They'd be perfect for a little craft project, too.

Here's a coupon for Skippy Peanut Butter, if that's your brand!  We prefer Jif but I printed this coupon because peanut butter is a great donation item!  "Save $1.00 on any TWO Skippy products (15oz or Larger) (Redeem at Walmart)"  Because of the "redeem at Walmart" notation, I'm going to keep an eye out for a sale I can price match and then use my coupon at Walmart!  I know Walgreens features Skippy on sale quite often.
