McCay's Donation Drop for Fisher House

My preschooler and I stopped into McCay Chiropractic yesterday to make a Wisk donation and I was tickled to see the little patriotic Christmas tree!  It's beginning to look a lot like....well, like a lot of donations!

If you haven't made a donation yet, you've still got time to help make a difference for Fisher House!  The donation drive ends next Tuesday, which is fitting because it's my soldiers birthday!

Thank you McCay, for sponsoring this donation drive!  And thankyou to everyone who donates!

McCay is located on S Main across from the Carhartt store!  Previous posts here and here for additional information and a list of "wants" and "needs" for Fisher House!  And, in case you missed it before, these donations will help military families at Fort Campbell, our neighbor only 45 minutes away from Hopkins County.

Fisher House Donation Drop

As your holidays become merry and bright, share the feeling by making a donation to Fisher House at Fort Campbell.  McCay Chiropractic is proudly accepting donations for this very important cause.  My husband is a soldier stationed at Fort Campbell so all things military are near and dear to me.  The Fisher House is a wonderful location that keeps families together as our wounded warriors head down that sometimes long road to recovery.

Here's a little story you might not hear anywhere else...I happen to know a young woman who is the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran, and she just happens to work at McCay Chiropractic.  In the past, the office had joined together to support a charity of some kind during the holidays.  This year, they wanted to support a military cause.  I know for a fact that this young woman worked hard to find a great cause and wouldn't give up when her phone calls were not returned.  Finally, she connected with the great folks at Fisher House and a dream to help soldiers became an attainable task!  There is nothing greater than the determination of a great and caring person!  Thank you SH!

Now, let's not allow all her hard work go to waste!  Pick up a donation item and drop it off as you head home from shopping.  If you're a couponer, clean out some of your stockpile and donate it to a wonderful cause.  I'm telling myself to do this, too, because I haven't dropped off a donation yet.  But, I do have HE Laundry Detergent with Fisher House written all over it!  And, don't forget that this Saturday is another "Save $5 off a $25 Purchase" day at Dollar General.  Work in a large office?  You only need twenty people willing to give a buck for a GREAT cause!  If you or your office make a donation, I'll promote you shamlessly on this blog!  Remember, this holiday isn't about the toys, it's about helping your fellow man!

Put some RED WHITE & BLUE into your Holiday

Can you tell how enthusiastic I am about McCay Chiropractic's donation drive?  I'm affectionately calling it
"Operation: Donation Drop" and it benefits Fisher House at Fort Campbell which is pictured there on the left.
This is just such a wonderful cause and it touches many a military family.  If you or a loved one has ever recovered from a long illness you know how important it is to have your family nearby.  Fisher House makes this possible for military families and this is happening a mere 45-minutes from Hopkins County.  It's a great place and your donations will be greatly appreciated.

Bring your donations to McCay Chiropractic conveniently located at 920 S Main St in Madisonville.  They will be accepting donations through December 20th.
Office Hours: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 8:00-6:00 (closed for lunch 12:30-2:00) and Saturday 8:00-11:00.  They're open late so you can drop your items off on your way home from work!  Be sure to head over to the McCay Facebook page and let them know what a wonderful thing they are doing for military families!  And don't forget to put "Operation: Donation Drop" on your shopping list as you head out today!  Couponer's CAN make a difference, one donation at a time!

Give to Fisher House, Help a Wounded Soldier

I am super happy to share this info with you today!  Please take a little time out of your holiday festivities and think about the wounded and recovering soldiers who live no more than a 45-minute drive from Hopkins County.  Drop your donations at McCay Chiropractic (920 S Main, across from the Carhartt store) anytime Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday from 8-12:30 and 2-6 and also on Saturdays from 8-11.  A big THANKYOU to the wonderful staff at McCay for initiating this drop spot for donations!

I see lots of things on the "needs" list that you can easily find coupons for!  But, don't limit your donations to just the things on the list.  Any health and beauty and household items will make great donations.  Board games, magazines, books...all those things that help pass the time.

Thanks again, McCay, for doing something wonderful for our military community!
