Chicken of the Sea Coupon

Login to Facebook and "LIKE" Chicken of the Sea for a 50-cent printable coupon!  This coupon is double-able and I was able to print it twice.  It reads:  Save 50-cents on any chicken of the sea item.  There's a small picture of the cans and packets.  I'm not sure about this brand specifically, but tuna was going on sale for $1 pretty regularly at Kroger during the Easter Holidays.  We don't eat tuna at our house, so this is going into my donations stockpile!

Sunday's Proctor & Gamble Preview

I don't know how Deal Seeking Mom got the P&G preview before Sunday Coupon Preview....but here's a link if you're interested in checking out the upcoming P&G coupons.  Looks like more of the same from the last couple inserts.  I can definitely see how you accumulate so much bodywash in such a short amount of time!  I'm disappointed that the Ivory soap coupon is not on the list.  There are a few coupons I'd like to take a closer look at, specifically the Oral B toothbrush coupons.  Another thing to keep in mind when you browse these preview lists, coupons are regional so we may not get the same coupons or coupon value here in Western KY.

Don't forget to LIKE Bounty on Facebook

A lucky 5,000 people will be able to print a $5 off Bounty coupon from their facebook page.  Go to: http://www.facebook.com/bounty?sk=app_221766741167516  and "like" them for your chance.  The page says.....and I quote...."As a thankyou to our loyals fans, we're giving away 5,000 $5 Bounty coupons beginning this Friday on our Facebook page.  Come back Friday to request yours!"  It doesn't specify a time, so I am going to try and be up at midnight to see if I can print one.  Of course, I probably need to factor in the time difference....  Let me know if you are able to get one!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

WARNING: Use this Heinz Coupon At Your Own Risk!

If you subscribe to even a couple coupon blogs, you've probably seen something like this:

The coupon in question looks like this:

Notice the wording in the red box near the expiration date...."on purchase of brand/size indicated."  My interpretation of that wording means the size has to be one of the 6 bottles pictured on the left hand side of the coupon.  The little "to go" bottle from the deli department, which is really adorable, is not one of the bottes indicated.

Will you be able to use this coupon on that litte 60-cent bottle?  Probably.  You can argue with your cashier/store manager that the "on any 1 Heinz" means "any one" and you just might wear them down.

Will I use this coupon for the 60-cent bottle?  Absolutely not!  And I have a two part reason.  First, I honestly do not believe that the little bottle meets the criteria specified by the coupon.  Second, this is a 50-cent off coupon that will double to a $1 off coupon at Market Place and Kroger.  The coupon expires on June 19th, but I am willing to hang onto it in the hopes that one of the grocery stores will have the small, regular bottles on sale for somewhere close to a buck between now and then.  And you'll be the first to know!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Sunday Coupons of Interest for 6/5

Took a few minutes and printed out the coupon preview for this weekend.  I really want a confirmation on the Proctor & Gamble and a preview of those coupons!  I'm trying to decide if I'll be buying any papers this weekend!

I spotted a couple coupons that might make for a good deal or two....

$1.00 off All Laudry Detergent, 28 loads+; this coupon alone is good, but with the right sale it could be GREAT, especially for folks trying to build up a stockpile of laundry detergent.  I'll keep my eyes on the sale ads for a great deal.

50-cents off Johnson's Baby 1oz to 4oz; now it's hard to know about this coupon w/out actually seeing it.  But!  I just happen to have an ancient travel size baby lotion (you know the little pink bottles) and it is 1 FL oz.  I don't know if Kroger carries Johnson's travel sizes, they do have a small selection of travel items.  If the coupon doubles and Kroger has them, you could POSSIBLY get them free or really cheap.  I know Walmart carries the travel sizes and they run about a buck.

75-cents off Snuggle Fabric Softener; I need to make a list of things to look for at the store.....If you want to use this coupon, I would check the grocery store and the Dollar General prices for the smallest box./bottle of Snuggle they carry.  One thing you'll notice quickly is that Walmart seems to have larger boxes with larger price tags.  If you can find a smaller size at a smaller price, you're spending less $; the trade off is that you're also getting a smaller quantity.  But, you know what they say...less is more!

$2 off Nivea Men's Bodywash; this product was running consistently $3 at Walmarts.  If they haven't rolled the price UP, paying a $1 for a full size bodywash is a pretty good price.  Especially if you prefer that brand or are building your stockpile!  And the size restriction goes from 8.4 oz to 16.9 oz!

Honorable Mentions:
Toothpaste, Toothbrush, and Razor coupons are usually pretty handy to have.

What's Free Next Week?

Head over to http://www.couponmom.com/  and check out next week's sale preview!

Walgreens will have 5 items free after coupon/register reward.
Riteaid will have 3 items free after coupon/up reward.
CVS will have 6 items free after coupon/extra care buck.

Plus, there are a number of items $1 and under.  I think it's great when you can buy anything for less than a dollar these days.

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Update: Fast Fixins

The Fast Fixins Frozen items are on sale this week at Sureway.  I posted about it in the Sureway Matchups.  Well, as I casually browsed coupons.com last night I stumbled across another Fast Fixins coupon!  FYI:  there is a size requirement on the coupon.  If anyone picks these up, I'd love to hear about it!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Coupon Mom Website

I stumbled across the website  http://www.couponmom.com/  when I first began couponing and researching how to get the best deals and instantly loved it!  Before the end of the week they have a posting of the deals for the next week at the chain pharmacies, Walmart, Target, Kmart, and Dollar General.  I just got my email reminder this morning that next week's sales are posted.  You do have to create a login to view the information, but it's worth it.  If you head over there, make sure you click "preview upcoming deals" on the left hand side right above the Display Selected Deals button.

I don't use it as often now that my couponing needs have gone from "stockpiling mania" to "maintaining the stockpile".  But, it's always interesting to see what items you can get free after coupon!  And that's one of the great things about their site, they have the coupon matchup right there for you!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Sunday's Coupon Preview

If you haven't heard of it, there is a great site that posts a preview of the upcoming Sunday coupons.  Check it out at   http://www.sundaycouponpreview.com/  The site also has a listing of which inserts we can expect to find in the paper.  I'm guessing that information is accurate more often than not.

We should be looking forward to seeing all 3 inserts on Sunday, June 5th.
Red Plum
Smart Source
Proctor & Gamble

The preview is up for viewing on the Red Plum and Smart Source.  See any good coupons?

The one coupon that jumped out at me is the $1 off All Laundry Detergent....it's on sale for $2.99 this week at Kroger.  That coupon isn't going to do us any good for this week's sale, but sometimes things are on sale for longer than a week, so I'm going to keep my eye on that one.  $1.99 is a pretty good price for laundry detergent, but I have to admit it sounds kind of high to me since most of the bottles I've picked up have been 99-cents lately!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Update: Little Debbie Cloud Cakes

Yes!  The Little Debbie Cloud Cakes are part of the $1.00 Little Debbie sale this week at Market Place!  The 75-cent off coupon is no longer available....but if you printed it and were waiting for the best deal, this is the time to use it!  I think my coupons expired around the 11th, so there's no better time than now to use them!  Thank you Tina, for picking these up for me!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!
