Nestle Crunch Candy Bar Coupons

If you like Nestle Crunch candy bars, head over to coupons.com and print out the Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupon and the 35-cent off one coupon.  You should be able to print two copies of each.  The 35-cent coupon is double-able at Kroger and Market Place.  Market Place often has candy bars on sale at the register, just not listed in the weekly ad, so keep an eye out as you wait at checkout!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

New Coupons at Coupons.com

During the first few days of each month, Coupons.com adds new coupons to it's inventory.  It's handy to take a scroll through at least once a day to see if anything new has popped up.  I like to wander through it in the morning and then again at night.  It's also helpful to subscribe to various coupon websites/blogs because you'll get a daily heads up for new coupons!

Here are the coupons I printed tonight: (I found them all at zip code 77477)
  • Boulder Canyon Potato Chips (I'm gifting these coupons)
  • Enfagrow Powder (I'm gifting these coupons)
  • Purina Tidy Cat get a free Cat Food (I printed this one, and it is a manufacturer's coupon, however, it reads "redeem only at HEB" so I am pretty sure Walmart can't accept it.  If I find out anything more, I'll post an update.)
  • Nestle Crunch, Buy 2 Get 1 Free
  • Nestle Crunch, 35-cents off one
  • Woman's Day Magazine, 25-cents off July Issue (this coupon will double at Kroger and Market Place.  The magazine retails for about $1.99, so pay about $1.50; I subscribe to Woman's Day, but I am thinking about doing a reader give away....stay tuned!)
  • Spic and Span (I have not been able to find this product at Walmart even though it's supposed to be around 97-cents a bottle.  It's on my list to check at Dollar General.  If I can find it, I plan on making this a donation item.)
Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Scott Naturals Bath Tissue

There are 5 printable coupons listed on the Scott Brand website.  Start watching the sales ads, and you'll see that the Scott TP and paper towels are on sale quite often.  (Much more often than Charmin!  and with higher value coupons!)

http://www.scottbrand.com/community/savings/scott/

I printed the Scott Naturals 4-roll TP coupon.  Walmart carries the 4-roll pack for around $2.68.  Let's say you have 4 of the $1.00 off coupons from the website (it would only allow me to print one, so best of luck!) and you went straight to Walmart and bought 4 packages at $2.68 each.  After coupons you would have paid $6.72 for 12 rolls of TP.  That's a budget buster!  If you follow the sale ads, you can find TP for a much better price.

But, wait!  If you purchase one pack a week until the coupon expires, you will only have used $1.68 a week off your budget.  You're still paying the same amount in the end, but it's coming out in smaller amounts, and you've added 12 rolls of TP to your stockpile in the end.  I find this to be a great way to increase your stock while not devastating your budget in one shopping trip.  Another perspective:  the cheapest, smallest package of TP runs a buck or higher at Walmart.  I'd much prefer to pay $1.68 for the Scott!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Southern Savers Website

I found Southern Savers when searching for an upcoming Kroger Ad.  I thought the Kroger matchups were great so I subscribed to their email.  This website sends out great coupon links for printable coupons.  Sign up at   www.southernsavers.com   I never regret getting the daily emails!

The site features sale matchups for several grocery stores that are not local for us - BUT - if that coupon matchup is for a manufacturer's coupon, you can use the coupon at ANY grocery store (unless otherwise noted)!  I like to at least scroll through the listings just in case I find a coupon that I can use.  And it pays off more often than you might think!
Here is a link for the coupons in the email today:  http://us1.campaign-archive2.com/?u=26f0eadeeb8f7809641f15416&id=e04cfdbc78&e=42a1f9e23a

Some of the coupon links will take you to coupons.com, some to the manufacturer's websites, while others will be a direct link to the "print" page.  I just printed the Green Giant Frozen Vegetable and the Birdseye Steam Fresh Vegetable coupons!  Now I just need these to go on sale for a buck or less and I will be thrilled!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Congratulations to the Upcoming Freshman Class at HCCHS!

I just wanted to make a shout out to the 8th graders who received their diplomas this morning from South Hopkins Middle School and who will be heading to high school this fall!
!!!Congratulations!!!
Alexis, Austin, Chelsea, DaDa, Ethan, and Shelby!
Your teachers had many nice things to say about you and your classmates.  The applause you gave for your classmates with challenges literally brought me to tears.  You guys are a great group of young people; keep up the good work.  And now that you are freshmen, I wish you the happiest high school career ever!  Work hard these next four years because I can hardly wait to see you play ball in college!  Or play for the orchestra in college!  Way to go guys, way to go!  Love, your Mimi

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Sunday Coupon Value Differences

I got an email from Proctor & Gamble yesterday reminding me that there is going to be a P&G insert in the Sunday paper with $102 in valuable coupons.  Today, I received the Kmart ad in the mail box.  On the half page at the very front of the Kmart ad, there's a small picture of the P&G insert and if you look very closely you can see the value is $93.  Here's a screen print from the Proctor and Gamble website...

I wonder which insert we'll get here in our area?

Thanks again, and happy couponing!
