Food Giant: Coupon Match Ups

Unfortunately, Food Giant doesn't accept internet printed coupons.....and I don't see any sale items that I could find a manufacturer's coupon to match up!  Sorry, Food Giant shoppers.  Better luck next week!

Whoopsie, I jumped the gun, there is one item on sale with a manufacturer's coupon!

Jolly Time Popcorn - 2/$4; use 50-cent off 1 (5/1 SS); unfortunately Food Giant won't double this coupon up to a dollar, so if you're going to Market Place, check the price and you might come out better getting it at MP.  If you do pick these up at Food Giant, use two 50-cent coupons and pay $3 for two!  As an added bonus, there is an offer for a free reuseable shopping bag when you purchase 3 jolly time products.  Just checked the Jolly Time website and this offer is still listed!  You can also print coupons from the site!  http://www.jollytime.com/resources/dyn/files/83825/_fn/free_grocery_bag.gif

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

DE Wafelbakker's Pancakes - 2/$5; go to their website and request a coupon!  http://www.dewafelbakkers.com/  You may not get it in time for this week's sale, but you'll have it for next time!

Jolly Time Popcorn - 2/$4; use 50-cent off 1 (5/1 SS); unfortunately Sureway won't double this coupon up to a dollar, so if you're going to Market Place, check the price and you might come out better getting it at MP.  If you do pick these up at Sureway, use two 50-cent coupons and pay $3 for two!

Little Debbie Snack Cakes, Assorted - 4/$5; if Cloud Cakes are included and you were hanging onto the coupon for 75-cents off, this will make for some cheap junk food!  If you have at least 4 (and they will accept all of them) you'll pay $2 for 4 boxes of Cloud Cakes!

Mezzetta Peppers - 2/$3 - 50-cents off 1 (All You magazine Feb & April issues); this coupon is a Do Not Double, so it's a great coupon to use at Sureway!  Use 2 coupons and pay $2 for two jars of Peppers!

Fast Fixins Nugget, Patties, or Strips - 2/$10 - sign up at http://www.fastfixin.com/fanatics.php for a coupon.  I didn't sign up so I am not sure what the coupon will be for.  I'm guessing it is for $1 off, so be sure to print two copies!

Market Place: Coupon Match Ups

Here's a list of sale items and coupons to go with them.  Sale starts today (6/1) and ends next Tuesday (6/7).

Ragu Pasta Sauce - $1.47; use 75-cents off 2 (5/22 RP); pay $2.19 for 2 jars

Little Debbie Snack Cakes, Assorted - $1.00; if Cloud Cakes are included and you were hanging onto the coupon for 75-cents off, this will make for some cheap junk food!  After coupon you'd pay only a 25-cents a box!  FYI: a buck is cheap and today is the first, if this is on your shopping list, I'd wait until next Monday to try and stock up on these.  And remember that Market Place will only allow you to use THREE of the same coupon each day.  So, if you were able to print several Cloud Cake coupons, be sure to take several people with you to help your transactions go smoothly!

General Mills Cereal, Assorted - 4/$10; $1 off 2 printable on coupons.com today!  You should be able to print two copies.  Buy 4 boxes, use 2 coupons and pay $8 for 4 boxes of cereal (or $2 a box!).

And those are the only items I see with coupons to pair up!  With sales like this, we'll never be on Extreme Couponing!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

New Coupons.com Coupons Start Today

If you print coupons from the internet, be sure to keep an eye on coupons.com.  The new coupons have started arriving and disappearing!  The Libby's vegetable coupon tells me "print limit reached" even though I haven't printed it yet.  So, I am going to keep a close watch in case it becomes available again.

The printed coupons usually have a 30 day expiration date, so keep that in mind if you don't think you'll use the coupon before the month ends.  If you wait until later in the month you'll get a later expiration date, but you do risk not catching the coupon before it disappears.  In the long run, you've saved yourself printer ink if you miss out on the coupon rather than letting it expire!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Food Giant & Sureway: Change for a Change

I don't usually browse the ads for Food Giant or Sureway too closely, but since I am making a Change for a Change list, I really tried to pour over it this morning!  And I am happy to see that there are several canned food items on sale this week!  Sales start today and end next Tuesday giving us plenty of time to get out and shop!

Please note:  There is reportedly a coupon for Libby's canned veggies on coupons.com, but it tells me the print limit has been reached.  I was able to print the Libby's fruit coupon which works on the canned varieties.  However!  Food Giant doesn't accept internet printed coupons.  I am not familiar with Sureways coupon policy, at the moment.  So I am making my list without coupons!

Buy 4 Green Giant Vegetables at 2/$1.  Total = $2.00

Buy 2 Showboat Pork & Beans at 68-cents each.  Total = $1.36

Pay $3.36!

If you can get the Libby's vegetable coupon....the Jumbo cans are on sale 4/$5.  If your store accepts the printed coupon, you could get vegetables for a good price this week!  OR!  You can take your ad & your printed coupons to Walmart and try price matching.  My Walmart couponing experiences are all over the place lately, so I recommend bringing the ad with you when price matching and keeping your fingers crossed!

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

Market Place: Change for a Change

Unfortunately, I only see a couple sale items with available coupons in the Market Place ad starting today.  So, pick up these three items for your donations stockpile!  And be sure to check those expiration dates before you buy!

Buy 2 Ragu Pasta Sauces ($1.47) use the 75-cent off 2 coupon (5/22 RP); donate one jar and keep the other for yourself.  Total = $1.10

Buy 1 Dial Soap 2-pack ($1.00).  Total = $1.00***

Buy 1 Joy or Dawn Dishsoap ($0.98).  Total = $0.98

Pay $3.08 plus tax!

(I suspect that canned vegetables are probably on sale....Sureway and Food Giant ads both have them featured in the weekly ad....Imagine how much you could donate if you only picked up one canned food item each trip to the grocery store?)

Thanks again, and happy couponing!

***There isn't currently a coupon for Dial products, but keep an eye on your Sunday papers.  A coupon for 35-cents off Dial was available earlier this year and coupons have a habit of coming back around.  If it comes back and it will double, that would make your $1 box of soap only 30-cents after coupon!

Buying Soda Pop In Hopkins County This Week?

If you're buying soda pop this week, the best deal is at Kroger.  The weekly ad features Coke, Pepsi, and RC products at 4/$10.  CVS has a similarly good deal on Pepsi products at 4/$13 and get back a $3 Extra Care Buck.  Both Kroger and CVS prices are good through Saturday, June 4th.

Thanks again, and happy couponing!
