Family Dollar: $5 off $25

I did not see a specific date for using this coupon.  My copy expires July 6th so I am guessing you can use it anytime between now and then.  Go to:  www.familydollar.com  to get your copy! 
The fine print says: $5.00 off coupon valid on any net purchase of $25.00 or more.  Net purchase price determined after all other offers, coupons and/or discounts have been taken.  Clear as mud?  My interpretation is that you have to have a subtotal of $25 AFTER any manufacturer's coupons have deducted.  So, basically you're going to be paying at least $20 out of pocket.  What's your take on it?
