Have you purchased any Dial soap lately? The 3-pack is on sale this week at Walgreens, buy one get one free. I'm not sure what the instore price is. But, I used Walgreens online prices to see which package brings you the best overall value for your money! I had to break this down by ounce since the 2-pack bars are 3.2 oz and the 3 & 8-pack bars are 4 oz. Here's what it looks like:
Buy the 2-pack at $1.00 and pay $0.156 per ounce or 50-cents per bar.
Buy the 3-pack at $2.79 and pay $0.232 per ounce or 95-cents per bar.
Buy the 8-pack at $5.99 and pay $0.187 per ounce or 75-cents per bar.
I was reasonably surprised to see that the smallest, cheapest package is actually the best value. You can find the 2-pack at Kroger and Market Place. Dial is frequently part of the 10 for $10 sale at Kroger, but it was in the $1 section at Market Place. If you threw in a 2-pack each shopping trip, your budget would barely feel it and you'd never be out of soap!
Thanks again, and happy couponing!
