Hooray! I am very happy to report that you can indeed use your $5 off a $25 purchase coupon AND manufactuer's coupons at Dollar General! The DG coupon has to be scanned first, then the manufactuer's coupons should scan without a problem! I saved a grand total of $9 using a combination of coupons today!
Here's what I bought....
Brawny (8 rolls) = $7.00 - $1.00 Manufactuer's Q = $6.00 (or $0.75/roll)
Aleve (24 count) = $3.75 - $1.00 Manufactuer's Q = $2.75
Aleve (24 count) = $3.75 - $1.00 Manufactuer's Q = $2.75
Carnation Evaporated Milk = $1.00 x 2= $2.00 - $0.50/2 Manufactuer's Q = $1.50 (or $0.75 each)
Carnation Evaporated Milk = $1.00 x 2= $2.00 - $0.50/2 Manufactuer's Q = $1.50 (or $0.75 each)
Mini Hershey Bars x3 = $3.75 (no coupon but the kids love these!)
Light Bulbs = $2.50 (no coupon but I had to have them!)
Cat Food = $1.00 (no coupon but I needed to get my total over $25)
Total = $25.75 - $5 DG Q - $4 Manufactuer's Q + $1.05 tax = $17.80 for everything!
And, I didn't notice it at the checkou, but the Evaporated Milk should have been 85-cents each instead of $1! But, I can not complain about saving $9. I can hardly wait for the next $5 weekend, can you?
