The DG discount is a little higher than 20-cents a dollar because I purchased 3 bags of Doritos that were part of a Buy 2, Get 1 Free promotion last week. But, in the end I saved $5 with my DG coupon and $3.50 for the free bag of chips! Plus my manufacturer's coupons totalled $5.40!
You can see the $5 discount came off exactly in 20-cents per dollar amounts in my second transaction. I am kicking myself because I forgot my $1 All coupon! But, you just can't complain when you get Snickers for a quarter each!
Next Saturday is another "Save $5 on your $25 purchase" day so I am looking forward to seeing what's on sale this week!
