As a military family, we have been very fortunate to say goodbye to our soldier three times, and welcome him home three times. The days during times of deployment when the phone doesn't ring are not good days. If you've ever wondered how you can help show your support for military families, you can find all the information you need on the USO's website. The USO is an all around wonderful program. I had never heard of the Families of the Fallen Support program that the USO provides to the family of fallen soldiers. They help the family travel to Dover Air Force Base where they can welcome their loved one back home. Just reading about it brought me to tears. The next time you see a soldier, don't be afraid to walk over, offer your hand, and say thank you for your sacrifices.
