Arizona woman is arrested after taking unsold copies of the newspagper from a Harp's store!
The woman claims she had gotten permission from the Harp's store to obtain the unsold newspapers. Whoever gave her permission must not have known how the newspaper delivery system works in Arizona. The carrier buys the newspaper at a whole sale price and then resells it to the stores at a profit. When papers are not sold, he can pick them up and return them for a credit. So, when this woman took those unsold papers, it was more like stealing from the carrier, rather than stealing from the newspaper. Very interesting. I wonder what her punishment will be. It really seems like a case of confusion rather than all out theft. What's your take on it?
